After opening the Louis Vuitton x Comme des Garcons concept shop in Aoyama,
Tokyo last year, Comme des Garcons is at it again this time working
with Vogue Nippon to mark Vogue Nippon’s 10th anniversary, billed as a magazine you can walk into — with a new theme, merchandise and exhibitions each month.
According to Tokyo Fashion,
The new Comme des Garcons collaboration will be with Vogue Nippon and it will open on May 28, 2009. The new shop will feature a bunch of fashion collaborations between Commes designer Kawakubo and brands including Chanel ,Fendi, Loewe, Martin Margiela, Walter van Beirendonck and also a collaboration between Japanese artist Takashi Murakami.
The Vogue Nippon shop is slated to stay open until fall.
ルイヴィトンの後のギャルソンの青山ショップスペースでのコラボレーションの相手は、VOGUE NIPPONのようで、VOGUE NIPPONの10周年を記念して、とのこと。
2009年の5月28日にスタートするこのコラボレーションは、VOGUEとのコラボレーションというだけあって、雑誌のように期間によってテーマが変わるようで、最初の6月はマンガをテーマに、村上隆、Chanel、Fendi、Loewe、Martin Margiela、Walter van Beirendonckと、ギャルソンの間でのコラボレーションの集まりとなる模様。って、すごいなあ、どうなるんだ？このコラボレーションショップは秋までオープンの予定。
