Qubic x Nike Sportswear New Zealand “Where Are You Yeezy” T-shirt

Here is a close up view of a print designed by Qubic Store and Nike New Zealand for the "WHERE ARE YOU YEEZY?" Kanye West x Nike Sportswear Air Yeezy Launch on Thursday 21/05/09. 

The teeshirt features cotton dri-fit Nike construction, and under low light or UV light a stylized silhouette of the Air Yeezy shoe appears on the chest. Only 40 units were produced in celebration of the launch event. 

ニュージーランドのQubicがAir Yeezyの発売を記念して、ナイキ　ニュージーランドと一緒に作ったＴシャツ。Air Yeezyのシルエットが蛍光塗料で描かれていて、浮かび上がる感じ。これは面白い。カニエのblogでおなじみの"WHERE ARE YOU YEEZY?"の文句が描かれていますが、まさにこのスニーカーを探す人達のセリフでもあるわけですもんね。記念イベントのために40枚だけつくられたって、これまた少ないね。

とうとう4月4日に記念すべき発売日を迎えたNIKE AIR YEEZY、入手できましたか？米国では215$で、日本では26,500円程度で販売されているようです。カニエの名前までついているという特別な感じはやはり心動かされます。今月は真ん中のグレーのが発売されて、5、6月と色別に発売されるようです。

インターネットで出回っていたこれまでの情報を振り返ってみると、上の写真は最終的なリリース版で、トップにパイプと半球状のカラータイマー的な紐通しがついてますが、このパイピングが洗練された印象に見せるのに効果的です。あとはストラップが黒とグレーはボコボコになりました。最初はえ？っと感じました。

This year’s SXSW Music Festival brought more than 1,800 acts to Austin, TX. 

While Vans and Chucks were on the feet of many performers at indy rock acts, the Nike Air Yeezy made its way into many of the hip hop performances.

SXSWのミュージックフェスティバルは今年もオースティンで開催され、1800ものパフォーマンスが行われた。

インディロックのアーティストはVANSやコンバース中心だったのに対し、ヒップホップのパフォーマンスではカニエ本人の着用も含めNike Air Yeezyが多く見られたとのこと。

Nike Sportswear とグラミー賞受賞者カニエ・ウェストが、待望のエア・イーズィーを2009年春に発表します。このスニーカーはカニエのニックネームからイーズィーと名づけられ、ナイキの歴史をさらに革新させ、カニエの独特なスタイルを反映した形、素材、デザインのオリジナリティはこれまでの製品を軽く超えてます。と、ここまででオフィシャル説明文の翻訳は中断します、やはり長くてやり切れなかった。そのうち時間があればアップします。気になる発売予定日は以下。
